Makeup for Oily Skin

Ooooo...That shine that is in your face after makeup. Is it a sign of healthy glow or oily skin? We definitely do not want to look like a freshly fried korean fried chicken which needs tonnes of kitchen towel to absorb oil. Sarah will share with you some makeup tips for oily skin.

1. Keep pre makeup skin prep simple

After cleansing and toning with balancing toner apply oil-control serum to prevent sebum from soaking your skin.

2. Primer time

Always remember to prime your skin before application of makeup. Choose a makeup primer with sebum control ingredients.

3. Foundation choice

Dewy foundation will not work very well on oily skin. Go for oil free or mattifying foundation.

4. Blot those oil

When you are outside and before touching up your makeup, blot the excess oil on the skin surface. Else your makeup will look caked when the face sebum and powder after touch up.

After blotting, touch up with some mattifying powder. Again, remember less is more.

5. Pamper your skin

At the end of the day, remember to remove makeup thoroughly. Use treatment mask once or twice a week to ensure pore-cleaning is done properly.
